Mediterranean Cruises
Mediterranean cruises are never booked with quite the same itinerary. The exact schedule that is offered by different cruise companies depends upon the capabilities and organization of reach cruise line. Mediterranean Attractions To View You may want to visit some of the oldest cathedrals and other large historical structures in Italy (particularly Rome), Greece (especially Athens), and Ephesus. You may also want to take a walk on the Riviera, which is very beautiful, both during the day and night. Some people may prefer to take this walk during sunset as well. Other places you may want to visit in the Mediterranean area include the art museums in Paris, and you also do not want to forget the Eiffel Tower, which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. If you are interested in studying Biblical history you may want to take a historical holy land tour through the Mediterranean. This particular tour would include major cities in both Italy and Greece. In addition, Mediterranean cruises can be hooked up with Israel and other Middle East tours.
Cruise Lines That Service The Mediterranean
In case you are wondering which cruise lines serve the Mediterranean, one of those is Royal Caribbean Cruise lines, and Holland America is another. These two ships are quite different from one another, as are other types of cruises that service the Mediterranean area. The Holland America cruise lines are of a more formal and traditional style, with many of the attributes of Early America. Royal Caribbean is more of a relaxed and informal cruise line, although there is a bit of dressing up that may be done aboard some of their ships as well. Additional Cruise Reservation Tips Every cruise line is different, and you probably already have seen an example of that in the previous section (between Holland America and Royal Caribbean). Therefore, it is wise that you do adequate enough research before you embark on your trip. You do not want to be stuck on a ship that you would not feel comfortable. For instance, you may want to wear jeans to dinner instead of a dress or tuxedo. Therefore, you may choose a cruise line that is more casual in nature. Likewise, if you prefer to dress up you would want to choose a ship that is more formal in nature. You also do not want to board a ship that accepts kids on the ship if you do not like being around children. That could make your trip miserable as well. Also, be sure you know what you will be eating on your ship, and be prepared for anything.
